Trevecca Nazarene University will induct five new members into its athletic hall of fame on Wednesday, April 25th at the annual Trevecca Hall of Fame Dinner in the President's Dining Room. The dinner is followed by the Third Annual TROJY Awards Show in the Boone Convocation Center.
With these five additions, the Trevecca Athletic Hall of Fame started in 1993, will have 74 members.

Our third introduction of the 2018 class is Rone' Phelps Russell.
Rone' Phelps Russell: The Trojan softball program reached numerous program firsts during her career. The firsts include: first winning season, first winning conference season, first 30-win season, first conference title, first NAIA Region XI tournament berth, first NAIA national ranking. The team also reached its highest national ranking in school history.
Russell collected a number of honors for her play including selection to the 2004 NAIA Scholar-Athlete team, chosen as a two-time NAIA All-Region first team member, making the NAIA All-Region second-team, included three-times on the TranSouth All-Conference team, and is a four-time TranSouth Scholar Athlete.
She ended her career as the leader in doubles (51) and hits (227) while holding down second in career triples (9), batting average (.380), extra-base hits (67), and RBI (105). She ranked third in runs scored (112). In 2003 Russell hit .437, and in 2006 she had 40 RBI, 100 total bases, 67 hits with 19 doubles while scoring 36 times.
