Hunter Newman had a career batting average of .382 with 181 runs scored, 56 doubles, eight (8) triples, 32 home runs, 186 RBI, .665 slugging percentage, 75 walks, 42 HBP, a .473 on base percentage and 21 stolen bases. Newman suited up for the Trojans first in the spring of 2013 and completed his career in 2015.
 
His junior year paved the way for a record-setting string of awards. Newman hit .451 with a .588 on base percentage and a .877 slugging percentage. He scored 67 runs, with 88 hits, 21 doubles, four triples, 18 home runs, 77 RBI, 39 walks, 13 hit by pitch and eight stolen bases.
 
He was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 22nd round with the 671st pick of the 2015 Major League Baseball (MLB) Amateur Draft.

2014-2015
As a junior he led the G-MAC in batting average, home runs, RBI, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, total bases, walks, and tied for the lead in hit by pitch. The 18 home runs were 11th best in Division II. Led the Trojans to a 36-18 mark and the G-MAC regular and postseason championships for the third-consecutive season.
 
2013-2014 
Hit .355 in his second season on the Hill with 62 runs scored, 77 hits, 19 doubles, four triples, eight home runs, and 57 RBI. He had a .590 slugging percentage with a .437 on base percentage. He drew 16 walks and 18 hit by pitch with five stolen bases.

2012-2013 
Started all 56 games as a freshman with a .343 batting average, 58 runs scored, 69 hits, 19 doubles, six home runs, and 55 RBI. He had a .527 slugging percentage and a .418 on base percentage. He drew 24 walks and nine hit by pitch with eight stolen bases. Had 21 games with multiple hits. Ranked at or near the top of every G-MAC offensive category.
