Price was a member of the men’s basketball team and graduated in 2005 after spending two years on the hardwood. He averaged 15.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per game during his career. Price was selected to the NAIA All-American Second Team and was the TranSouth Players of the Year in 2004-05. He helped lead the Trojans to a 25-8 record that year as TNU advanced all the way to the sweet 16 on the NAIA National Tournament.

Sam Harris coached Price for two seasons at Trevecca. Harris said, “Eric made himself into a great player offensively and defensively leading us to the TranSouth Championship and then on to the Sweet 16. When he came here he probably thought he was a offensive player, but he made himself a complete player with great defense. He had soft hands and could pass the ball so well. He could create space for his shot and then finish with a tremendous touch.”
After Graduation
Prior to coming to Trevecca, Price played for Melvin Williams at Chattanooga State Technical Community College (2001-2003). Then he played three professional seasons of basketball, two in Argentina and one in Uruguay. He played for Jim Haley at Vanguard High School in Ocala, Fla.

Currently Price is working as a therapist at Marion Juvenile Correctional Facility and is the assistant basketball coach at Vanguard High School.

He is married to Alicia Price, and they have three children3—Aubrey, Kingston, and Mahogany. Joining him for this honor are his mother, Angelica Tuggerson, and brothers Anthony Price, Orien Price, and Ezekial Tuggerson.
