2013–2017
Alexa Rippy Phillips stands as one of the most decorated athletes in Trevecca Nazarene University history. She was recruited by Trevecca Hall of Fame coach Michael Johnson and completed her remarkable career under head coach David Head.
Rippy Phillips became a trailblazer for Trevecca and the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC), setting new standards for excellence in women’s golf.

Career Records
Rippy Phillips played more rounds than any golfer in program history (78) and recorded the most eagles (4), including two at the NCAA National Tournament. She holds the program record for career birdies (159) and finished her career ranked 38th nationally.
2016–2017 Season
Rippy Phillips became the first Trevecca and G-MAC golfer to compete in the NCAA Division II National Championship, finishing 46th in a 72-player field. She also qualified for her second consecutive NCAA DII Super Regional, placing fourth among 66 competitors.
She earned a personal and program-record five tournament victories in 11 events, including a career-low round of 69 to win the Cumberland University Phoenix Invitational. Her 77.19 scoring average set a new program record. She recorded 20 rounds of 80 or lower and nine rounds of 75 or better, capturing three individual medalist titles during the season.
2015–2016 Season
Rippy Phillips made history as the first Trevecca and G-MAC women’s golfer to reach the NCAA DII Regional. She played 20 rounds with a school-record 75.80 scoring average and ranked 35th nationally.
She tied the program record with four individual wins, led the team in par or better rounds (4), finishing percentage (92.7%), and birdies (41) — breaking her own single-season record. She also ranked first in par-three scoring (3.2805 average).
2014–2015 Season
Competing in 10 tournaments and 19 rounds, Rippy Phillips lowered her scoring average by more than a stroke from her freshman year to 78.26, setting a new Trevecca season record. She shot a career-best 74 twice — tied for the third-lowest rounds in program history — and set a 54-hole program record (230).
She tallied 34 birdies, another program record, and claimed two medalist titles. Rippy Phillips finished in the top five in five consecutive tournaments, including a win at the G-MAC Championship. She also placed eighth individually at the NCAA DII Super Regional while leading the Trojans to their third straight G-MAC team title and five overall team championships that season.
2013–2014 Season
In her freshman campaign, Rippy Phillips averaged 79.9, recording six rounds in the 70s. She tied for fifth in her collegiate debut at the Coastal Georgia Invitational (76–76=151) and added several top-five finishes throughout the year, including:
