Trevecca Athletic Hall of Fame
Katie Carter Douglas in the category of student athlete for her contributions to the Trojan volleyball program while attending Trevecca.
Katie Carter Douglas played volleyball for three seasons (2001-2003) after transferring from Samford University.
She became the first Trevecca volleyball player to make the NAIA Honorable Mention All-American team.
Carter played volleyball for Father Ryan and legendary coach Jinx Cockerham. At Trevecca, Carter played for the late Scott Jones.
Carter finished with terrific career numbers despite only playing at Trevecca for three years.
Carter's career numbers include: 982 kills, 3.43 kills per game, .371 attack percentage, 1263 points, 4.42 points per game, 402 blocks, 1.42 blocks per game, 312 block assists.
She ended her career 1st in block assists and 2nd in blocks per game, points per game, attack percentage, and kills per game.
She set the TNU season record for points (739.5), block assists (165), and blocks per game (1.37). All those marks were set in the 2002 season.
