NASHVILLE – Trevecca Nazarene University senior baseball player
David Milam is the Great Midwest Athletic Conference baseball player of the week, for the week ending Sunday, March 31, 2024.
Milam, a native of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, hit .700 for the week with an on base percentage of .824.
The catcher, from Blackman High School, reached base 14 times of his 18 at bats in the Trojans four game Great Midwest series with Hillsdale. TNU outscored HC 65-22 over the four-game sweep.
Milam, a first team all-conference selection in 2022, added seven (7) runs scored with two (2) doubles, and five (5) RBI. He stole a base and was perfect defensively behind the plate, per usual there were no stolen base attempts against him over the weekend.

Trevecca heads on the road to Cleveland, Tennessee for a single game at Lee on Tuesday (5 PM CT), weather permitting, then hit the road again for a Great Midwest weekend series at Walsh University in Canton, Ohio.
A trip to Owensboro, Ky. follows for a G-MAC series at Kentucky Wesleyan on April 12-13.
The last home series is April 19-20 when Cedarville University visits Jackson Field.
A midweek game at Carson-Newman University is on
Tuesday, April 23 starts the final nine-game road trip to close out the regular season. The first-ever trip to new G-MAC member Thomas More University in Florence, Ky. is April 26-27.
Trevecca closes out the regular season at Ohio Dominican University May 2-3, 2024. That is a Thursday/Friday series to make room for pitchers to be setup for the conference tournament and allows the seniors a chance to walk at graduation on
Saturday, May 4, 2024.
The Great Midwest Championships are May 8-11 at Prasco Park in Mason, Ohio.
