Box Score MARIAN, Ind. – Trevecca (1-2) men's soccer was downed by Indiana Wesleyan (4-1) after scoring late in the match. The match was the first match for the Trojans participating in the Indiana Wesleyan University Fall Classic.

Trevecca will play again tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. against Bethel College for the second match of the tournament.

The Wildcats were the more offensive minded team sending 13 shots towards the net forcing keeper, Braydon Brown (SR/Brownsburg, Ind.) to make seven saves. The Trojans took three shots that were all on target. Â

The Trojans struck first in the 21st minute taking the 1-0 advantage coming off the foot of Juan Egas (SR/Quito, Ecuador) unassisted.

That lead would last the remainder of the half, but not much longer than that. The Wildcats answered in just the first minute of the half to tie the match back at one.

Indiana Wesleyan would take the lead late, scoring in the 31st minute. The Trojans would not get a chance to equalize the match. Â

The Trojans will return home on Tuesday, September 16 to take on Asbury University at the Trojan Soccer Complex.Â
