CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's soccer team (2-0-1) extended its unbeaten start to the season after a last-minute penalty to rescue a 1-1 draw on the road at No. 15 Cedarville University (2-0-2) on Saturday afternoon.

THE MATCH
Cedarville struck first in the 44th minute when Christian Nardelli found the back of the net, assisted by Eddie Merck and Amari Everage, to send the hosts into halftime with a 1-0 lead.
Trevecca kept pressing in the second half, and the breakthrough came just minutes before the final whistle. After drawing a foul in the box,
Tom Hooper stepped up to bury the penalty kick and level the match at 1-1.
Both teams registered seven shots in a tightly contested affair. Trevecca held a 7–4 advantage in corners, while keeper
Hunter Walker made two saves on three shots on goal to anchor the Trojan defense.

Trevecca will open Gulf South Conference play next Friday, September 19, with a road matchup against West Alabama (0-2-1). Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 PM in Livingston, Alabama.
