COLUMBUS, OH. – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's soccer team (2-0-0) remained perfect on the year with a 2-0 shutout victory over former G-MAC rival Ohio Dominican (0-2-1) on Thursday evening at Panther Stadium.

THE MATCH
Daniel Shiel opened the scoring early in the 11th minute, finishing off a ball assisted by
Chris Douglas to give the Trojans an early 1-0 advantage. It was Shiel's first of the season and also Douglas' third direct goal involvement this season.
Later in the half, senior
Luke Tedder found the back of the net in the 33rd minute for his first collegiate goal, giving Trevecca a two-goal cushion that held the rest of the way. The Trojan defense held firm from there, limiting the Panthers' chances to just four shots on goal.
Goalkeeper
Hunter Walker recorded four saves and earned his first clean sheet of the season.
Trevecca outshot Ohio Dominican 13-11 overall and 9-4 in shots on goal. The Trojans also drew four corner kicks to the Panthers' five.
