Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trevecca women's basketball team (1-1) lost 80-62 at the Trojan Fieldhouse to Truman State University (2-0) in the opening game of the 2014 Pops Duncan Music City Classic.

Trevecca will play Ferris State University (0-0) on Saturday at 2 p.m. Ferris State played Kentucky Wesleyan College (0-2) in Friday's second PDMC Classic game.
Sarah Raby (SO/Lynchburg, Tenn.) scored the opening basket, but Trevecca never led again. Trevecca trailed 7-6 with 15:32 remaining, but Truman scored eight straight for a 15-6 advantage. Trevecca trailed by as many as 11 in the first half, but cut into the lead and trailed by five (32-27) at the break.
Truman continued the pace in the second half and slowly built on their lead before sealing their second win of the year 80-62.
Britt Bell led Trevecca with 13 points and seven rebounds. Bell added three assists, a block, and three steals. Paige Baugher (JR/Mt. Juliet, Tenn.) added 10 and was 2-for-2 from three-point range. Haley Felker (SR/Kingston Springs, Tenn.) added nine points on 3-of-5 shooting from long range.
Trevecca shot 33% (23-70) from the field, 35% (8-23) from three-point range, and hit 80% (8-10) from the foul line. TSU had a 49-33 advantage on the boards, but Trevecca forced 17 Bulldogs turnovers.
Truman State hit 10 three-pointers and were 5-of-7 from long range in the second half. Allie Norton led the way for the Bulldogs with 22 points and was 5-for-8 from deep.
