NASHVILLE – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's soccer team (1-3, 0-2 Great Midwest) dropped its second Great Midwest Athletic Conference match of the season as Tiffin University (1-1, 1-1 Great Midwest) shut down the Trojans while two Dragons found the back of the net in a 2-0 win.

THE SERIES

The Dragons are 4-0 all-time versus the Trojans.  

THE MATCH

The Dragon's first goal came off the foot of Joel Daly with an assist from Eduardo Carvalho in the seventh minute. The 1-0 score held until Eduardo Carvalho marked his own goal in the 86th minute with a helper from Landon Evans.

DETAILS  

Decian Lehman turned away the two Trojans shots for a shutout in goal for the Dragons.

Tiffin outshot Trevecca 11-5. Trevecca did not have any shots in the second half. The Trojans placed two shots on goal. The Dragons produced a 10-3 edge in corner kicks.

Tyler Delgado saved six of the eight shots he faced in goal for the Trojans.     

WHAT'S NEXT 

The Trojans will remain at home to host the University of Findlay on Saturday (March 20) and hit the road again to visit Lake Erie College a week later (March 27). Cedarville University comes to Music City Thursday, April 1 at 4:30 PM. The homestand continues on Saturday, April 3 with Ohio Dominican University #ONtheHILL for a Noon tilt.
