CANTON, Ohio - The Trevecca Nazarene University Men's Soccer team (3-3-2, 3-2-1 G-MAC) defeated Malone University (1-6, 1-5 G-MAC) 4-3 in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference match played at Pro Football Hall of Fame's Legacy Sports Complex on Saturday.

Trevecca 4, Malone 3

The Trojans scored first as Luis Vital (JR/Springfield, TN) found the back of the net in the 13th minute. Bryce-Austin Wahy (FR/Melbourne, Fla) scored a goal assisted by Reed Coffman (SO/Hendersonville, TN) in the 36th minute. The Trojans led 2-1 at halftime. In the second half Trevecca and Malone traded goals. Ethan Keogh (JR/Athlone, Ireland) scored an unassisted goal in the 56th minute. The Pioneers would tie the game at 3-3 in the 66th minute before Keogh scored the game winning goal in the 79th minute.

Ethan Keogh had goals two goals to boost the Trojans, including the game winner …  Reed Coffman and Bryce-Austin Way picked up assists ... Trojan keeper, Tyler Delgado (SO/Spring Hill, TN) (SO/Spring Hill, TN) made one save and got the win. Delgado improves to 3-3-2 this season.

Trevecca continues Great Midwest play on the road Thursday, Sept. 28 at 2:30 PM when they collide with conference foe #18 Ohio Valley University (7-1-1, 4-0-1 G-MAC). This will be the 11th NCAA era meeting between the two teams. TNU trails the series 4-5-1losing their last five games against OVU.
