Ohio Valley's Celso Riveros scored the first goal of the match in the seventh minute assisted by Nemanja Acimovic. Although the Trojans managed a pair of shots in the first half, the score remained 1-0 at halftime. Javier Rodriguez scored in the 69th minute to give the Fighting Scots a two-goal advantage. Rodriguez's goal was assisted by Guillermo Segovia. The Trojans shot four times in the second half, but were unable to score.
