Danny Martinez (SR/Nashville, TN) finished a short tap pass from Nicolas Reinhard (SO/Heiligkreuzsteinach, Germany) in the 30th minute (29:59) for a 1-0 Trojan lead. The fourth goal of the year for Martinez proved to be the game-winner. Â

Reinhard was on the receiving end of a nice assist when Kevin Pierce (FR/Franklin, TN) stole the ball and dribbled before finding Reinhard ahead who scored. Reinhard's sixth goal of the year came in the 70th minute (69:05).

Sean Anderson (SO/Fairview, TN) scored in a solo attack in the 83rd minute (82:24).

The final score came from Jeremiah Wright (SR/Columbia, TN) who took a long pass from Frank Down (JR/Ballincollg, Ireland) and scored on a header over the keeper's hands in the 84th minute (83:08). It is the fourth of the year for Wright. Â Â

Tyler Delgado (FR/Spring Hill, TN) worked with is defenders to produce another shutout. Delgado collected three saves.

Up next is a trip to West Virginia to face Davis & Elkins College (6-3-2, 5-2-1 G-MAC) on Thursday and Alderson Broaddus University (5-5-2, 5-3 G-MAC) on Saturday. TNU is 2-3 all-time in the series with the Senators. D&E owns the victor in the last two meetings. The Battlers lead the series with the Trojans 4-1 with wins in the last three meetings.
