NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trevecca Nazarene University men's soccer team (6-8-1, 4-5-1 G-MAC) were defeated by the Ohio Valley University Fighting Scots (11-4 8-2 G-MAC) 2-1 in overtime in a Great-Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) match.

The scoring did not start until the 72nd minute (71:13) when Zourab Tspopurachvili passed to Nicolas Rodriguez to give the Fighting Scots the lead 1-0

Trevecca answered in the 87th minute (86:10) when Luis Vital (SO/Springfield, TN) crossed it in to Sean Anderson (SO/Fairview, TN) who headed it into the back of the net to get the equalizer for the Trojans, evening the match at 1-1.

The match went to overtime, but OVU's Pedro Gonzalez ended it early in the OT period with a goal in the 92nd minute (91:36), giving the Scots a 2-1 win.

Trevecca's keeper, Tyler Delgado (FR/Spring Hill, TN), had four saves on the night as six shots were on goal. The Trojans had six shots on the night, four of those shots were on goal.

The Trojans are 4-4-1 overall against the Fighting Scots all-time.

The Trojans host Cedarville University (8-6-2, 6-3-1 G-MAC) on Saturday at 4PM. The Trojans are 0-8-2 against the Yellow Jackets all-time. The Yellow Jackets and Trojans tied 1-1 the last time they met in Cedarville, OH earlier this year.
