ELKINS, W.Va. - The Trevecca men's soccer team (2-3-0, 1-1-0 G-MAC) defeated Davis & Elkins College (1-3-1, -2-1 G-MAC) 2-1 on Saturday at Nuttall Field. 

Trevecca returns home to face Ohio Valley University (2-2, 0-1 G-MAC) on Thursday, September 17 at 7:30 PM at the Trevecca Soccer Complex. Trevecca hosts Salem International University (2-2, 0-1 G-MAC) on Saturday at 7 PM.

Jeremiah Wright (JR/Columbia, TN) scored both of Trevecca's goals and Jake Singer (SO/Donelson, TN) assisted on the second Wright goal.

Wright first scored in the 5th minute (5:24) of the match unassisted to put the Trojans in front for good. Wright struck again, this time with an assist from Singer, in the 24th minute (24:25) and the Trojan defense made it stand up. 

The Senators scored in the 86th minute (86:30), but Trevecca keeper Daniel Mudd (JR/Shelbyville, TN) clamped down for the win. Mudd had three saves on the day after facing 18 D&E shots. 

Trevecca had nine shots, three of those were on goal.  Daniel Nock had a save while allowing the two Trojan goals.
