INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA Division II Women's Golf Committee selected the teams and individuals that will compete in the 2015 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championships and Trevecca Nazarene University women's golfer Alexa Rippy (SO/Clarksville, Tenn.) was chosen to participate in the East Super Regional. Rippy is the first Trevecca representative (athlete or team) to participate at a regional event by qualifying. This is Trevecca's first season of full membership at the NCAA Division II level. Trevecca's cross country teams qualified automatically for the regional back in the fall and were the first teams to represent Trevecca on the region level.

The NCAA Division II women's golf super regional competitions will be conducted May 3-5 or May 4-6. Each super regional will consist of both team and individual competition conducted concurrently with nine teams and four individuals from non-qualifying teams at each site. All participants will compete throughout the 54 holes of competition. The top three teams along with the top three individuals not with a team from each super regional will advance to the championships.

Rippy will participate in the East Regional May 3-5 at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club in Lemont, Ill. and is hosted by Lewis University.

Rippy was the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Individual Medalist last week, leading the Trojans to the third consecutive G-MAC team championship. Rippy has finished high in numerous events in her college career, but picked up her first Medalist Championship while leading the Trojans to another team victory at the Ohio Valley University Spring Invitational on April 11-2.

The 2015 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championships will be held May 13-16, at The Meadows Golf Course in Allendale, Michigan. Grand Valley State University will serve as the host.

The championships will consist of both team and individual competition conducted concurrently. All participants will compete throughout the entire 72 holes of competition. In the team competition, the low four scores for each team will count in each day's total score. The number of participants that qualify for the finals is 72.

In the 2014 championship, Lynn University won its second consecutive NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship, with Barry finishing in second place.
