OLD HICKORY, Tenn. – Trevecca Nazarene University women's golf finished 14th in a 21-team field at the Music City Classic, hosted by Cumberland University at Hermitage Golf Course, General's Retreat, closing out the final regular season event before next week's Gulf South Conference Championships.
The course played to a par 72 over 6,085 yards with 104 individuals competing.
Trevecca posted a 937 (309-310-318) across the three rounds. The Trojans ranked eighth in the field in par five scoring average at 5.30 and recorded 152 total pars, the ninth most among the 21 teams.
Emma Almquist led the Trojans with a 230 (76-75-79), finishing tied for 34th in the field. Tied for eighth in the field with an even-par average (5.00) on the par five holes.
Freshman Mattie Goad delivered Trevecca's low round of the tournament with a two-over-par 74 in Monday's opening round.
Kamryn Vester turned in one of the top performances on the par five holes, finishing with an even-par scoring average (5.00), tying for eighth best in the field.
TEAM NOTES
TNU combined to record 18 birdies as a team with Makenzie Norwood leading the way with five.
