NASHVILLE – Trevecca Nazarene University senior Gracee Prince is the Gulf South Conference Women's Golfer of the Week presented by Athletic Solutions for the week ending Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026.
Prince earned the honor after tying for fifth in the 60-player field at the King University Invitational in Bristol, Tennessee. She finished the 36-hole event at 11-over-par 153 (80-73) on the par-71, 5,882-yard course at the Country Club of Bristol.
The Madison, Alabama, native cut seven strokes from her opening round, closing with a two-over-par 73. The final round established her Trevecca season and career low, improving on the 74 she shot at the season-opening City with Spirit Fall Classic.
Prince made three birdies Tuesday and five for the tournament, bringing her season total to 13 through five rounds. She has led the Trojans in both tournaments this season and carries a 76.00 scoring average.
Her closing round helped Trevecca post the lowest 18-hole team score in program history. The Trojans' 304 bettered the previous record of 307 and represented a 16-stroke improvement from Monday's opening 320. Trevecca finished with a 624 (320-304).
Prince's 153 also matched her Trevecca season and career best for 36 holes, first established during the opening two rounds at the City with Spirit Fall Classic.
Prince is Trevecca's first women's golfer to receive a GSC weekly honor this season.
