OLD HICKORY, Tenn. – Trevecca Nazarene University women's golf stands 13th after 36 holes at the Music City Classic, hosted by Cumberland University at Hermitage Golf Course, General's Retreat. The event marks the final regular season tournament before the Trojans turn their focus to the Gulf South Conference Championships.
The course is playing to a par 72 over 6,085 yards with a field of 21 teams and 104 individuals.
Emma Almquist paced Trevecca through two rounds with a 151 (76-75) and is tied for 23rd entering Tuesday's final round. Almquist has been efficient on scoring opportunities, tied for third in the field with a 4.75 average on par five holes.
Kamryn Vester has also contributed in that category, tied for seventh with a 4.88 average on par fives.
Freshman Mattie Goad delivered the Trojans' low round of the tournament, posting a two-over-par 74 in Monday's opening round.
TEAM NOTES
Trevecca recorded the fourth-best par five scoring average in the field at 5.22 through two rounds.
The Trojans also ranked seventh in total pars on Monday with 102.
Trevecca closes the tournament Tuesday before shifting attention to postseason play at the Gulf South Conference Championships.

The Trojans play the final round in the Music City Classic on Tuesday, April 14.
The 2026 Gulf South Conference Championships are scheduled for the Greystone Golf Club in Dickson, Tenn. April 20-21-22.
