Daniel Mudd posted a shutout in goal, as the Trevecca men's soccer team (5-5-1, 3-1-1 G-MAC) shut out Ohio Valley University (0-12, 0-5 G-MAC) Thursday evening.

The Trojans will play their second of four consecutive matches away from home Saturday at 2:30pm at Salem International University (6-3-1, 2-1-1 G-MAC).

Wright, a sophomore from Columbia, Tenn., got the Trojans on the board 9:48 into the contest with his fifth goal of the season.Â

Despite plenty of opportunities, the Trojans were unable to add to the lead until the early stages of the second half.Â

That's when senior
Rob Ward notched his third goal of the season at the 56:48 mark to put Trevecca up 2-0.

From there, keeper
Daniel Mudd and the Trojan defense took care of the rest. Mudd made saves on all three OVU shots on goal, and the Trevecca defense limited the Scots to five shots total.Â
