NASHVILLE – Trevecca Nazarene University volleyball players Katilyn Grant and Lily Vanbebber have earned Gulf South Conference weekly honors for the week ending Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026.
Grant was selected as the GSC Offensive Player of the Week, while Vanbebber was named the GSC Defensive Player of the Week.
The two helped Trevecca complete a 3-0 week with victories over Alabama Huntsville, Union University and Christian Brothers University.
The Trojans opened the week with a five-set victory over UAH before adding conference wins over Union and Christian Brothers.
KATILYN GRANT | GSC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Grant delivered 43 kills while hitting .368 across Trevecca's three victories. The senior averaged 3.58 kills per set and added seven blocks while accounting for 47 points.
Grant reached double figures in kills in all three matches.
She opened the week with 12 kills and two blocks in Trevecca's five-set victory over Alabama Huntsville.
Grant followed with 13 kills against Union, hitting .476 in the victory.
She finished the week with 18 kills against Christian Brothers while hitting .417 and adding four blocks.
Over Trevecca's final two matches of the week, Grant combined for 31 kills while hitting .439.
Grant, a member of the 2026 Preseason All-GSC Team, finished the week with 951 career kills and 298 career blocks.
LILY VANBEBBER | GSC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Vanbebber anchored the Trevecca defense with 74 digs during the Trojans' 3-0 week, averaging 6.17 digs per set.
The senior libero recorded at least 18 digs in each of Trevecca's three victories and reached a major career milestone during the week.
Vanbebber opened with 35 digs in the five-set victory over Alabama Huntsville, tying her career high and finishing two digs shy of Trevecca's NCAA Division II era single-match record of 37.
She added 21 digs in the win over Union and surpassed 1,000 career digs during the match.
Vanbebber completed the week with 18 digs, four assists and three service aces against Christian Brothers.
For the week, Vanbebber also contributed 12 assists and five service aces.
Vanbebber set Trevecca's NCAA Division II era single-season records with 562 digs and 4.72 digs per set during the 2025 season.
