NASHVILLE – The Trevecca Nazarene University STUNT team (15-6, 6-1 GLVC), ranked No. 7 in this week's College STUNT Poll, split its opening day game at the 2026 Music City STUNT Classic, falling to NCAA Division I No. 1 Cal Baptist before earning a decisive win over McNeese State.

2026 Music City STUNT Classic at Trevecca – Day One

Cal Baptist demonstrated its top-ranked form early, holding Trevecca scoreless through the first half. The Lancers posted 4-0 advantages in both the first and second quarters to build an 8-0 lead at the break.

Trevecca found points in both the third and fourth quarters, but Cal Baptist maintained control throughout the second half, outscoring the Trojans 18-2 to secure the result.

The matchup marked the first meeting between the two programs in STUNT.

Trevecca 31, McNeese State 8
Trevecca responded in its second contest with a complete performance against McNeese State. The Trojans established control early, outpointing the Cowgirls 6-2 in the first quarter and 4-1 in the second for a 10-3 halftime lead.

Trevecca extended the margin in the second half, posting a 6-2 edge in the third quarter before closing with a 15-3 fourth quarter to seal the 31-8 victory.

The contest was also the first STUNT meeting between the two programs.

Trevecca continues play in the Music City STUNT Classic at the Trojan Fieldhouse.

The Trojans enter Friday's matchup with Tiffin holding a 5-0 all-time record against their former G-MAC rival. Trevecca also won the only previous STUNT meeting with East Stroudsburg.

The GLVC Championships open postseason play April 3-4 in Springfield, Missouri, at Drury's O'Reilly Event Center.

The season concludes with the College STUNT NCAA Division II National Championships, scheduled for April 23-24 in Nashville at Allen Arena on the Lipscomb campus.
