Trevecca STUNT | CSCA All-American Honors Cap Successful 2026 STUNT Season for Trevecca Trojans

NASHVILLE - The 2026 Trevecca Nazarene University STUNT team placed three athletes on the 2026 College STUNT Coaches Association (CSCA) All-American team, adding more postseason honors to a successful third season for the program.

Makenzie Buff and Shelby Beck earned CSCA All-American Second Team honors, while Alessia Romeo was named CSCA All-American Honorable Mention.

CSCA All-American nominees must participate in all four quarters of competition, including Partner Stunts, Pyramids & Tosses, Jumps & Tumbling and Team Routine. Nominees must also participate in at least 50 percent of games played and be a vital part of the team's success, with that impact shown through their routines.

SEASON REVIEW
The CSCA honors complete a strong 2026 season for Trevecca, which finished 21-10 overall and 6-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. It is the second consecutive season the Trojans have reached the 20-win mark.

Trevecca, in just its third season as a STUNT program, is 67-25 all-time under head coach Kelly Quigley. The Trojans have advanced to the College STUNT National Championships in each of their first three seasons.

The Trojans finished second in the 2026 GLVC regular season and advanced to within one match of the GLVC Tournament championship final.

Trevecca returned to the College STUNT National Championships at Allen Arena on the Lipscomb University campus in Nashville for the second consecutive season. The Trojans entered the event as the No. 8 seed and opened the championship with a 27-22 win over No. 9 Ashland.

The Ashland win gave Trevecca its first national championship victory over the Eagles and completed a season sweep in the series. The Trojans also defeated Ashland 23-20 during the regular season in Lexington, Ky.

After falling to No. 1 Oklahoma Baptist, Trevecca moved into the elimination bracket and responded with a 20-10 win over No. 11 Tiffin. The win kept the Trojans alive and sent them into a matchup with No. 5 Maryville, the GLVC champion.

Maryville held off Trevecca 22-20, ending the Trojans' national championship run. Trevecca finished 2-2 at the national championships, adding wins over Ashland and Tiffin.

The Trojans finished the season 7-0 all-time against Tiffin and improved to 5-4 all-time against Ashland.

The Trevecca and Ashland series has become the most-played series in the first three seasons of the Trojan program. Across nine meetings, Trevecca holds a 145-136 edge in total points. Five of the nine matches have been decided by two points or fewer, and three have gone to overtime.
Two of the overtime matches between Trevecca and Ashland have come at the College STUNT National Championships.
