FULLERTON, Calif. – The Trevecca Nazarene University STUNT team (6-2), ranked No. 9 in the College STUNT Preseason Poll, concluded its West Coast swing on a four-game win streak, sweeping through the Hope International Royal Rumble.

Trevecca opened the Royal Rumble with a pair of wins on Friday, beating No. 10 Saint Mary's (2-6) and Northwest Nazarene (1-4). Then, making it four in a row with wins over No. 6 Vanguard (3-1) and Fresno Pacific (3-3) on Saturday.

With the win, TNU's series with Vanguard is even at 1-1. The Trojans established the edge over Fresno Pacific, winning the first ever STUNT meeting between the two schools.

GM 1: No. 6 Vanguard 17, No. 9 Trevecca 22
The Trojans gave the Vanguard Lions their first loss of the season. The Trojans built a 2-1 lead after one routine and led 3-1 after the first quarter.  The Trojans increased their advantage to 10-5 after a 6-2 win in the second frame. The Trojans maintained that five-point advantage after the teams played even in the third (4-4) and fourth (8-8).

GM 2: Fresno Pacific 11, No. 9 Trevecca 27
The Trojans doubled up the Sunbirds 4-2 in the first. The Trojan lead to five after taking the second quarter 5-2. They started the second half up 9-4. The third went TNU's way 6-4, giving the Trojans a 15-8 lead going to the fourth. In the fourth, the Trojans increased their lead with a 12-3 score, locking their fourth straight win.

The Trevecca Trojans open play for the first time in their new conference, the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), on Friday, Feb. 14 – Valentines Day. Their first foray into the GLVC is in Westville, Indiana at Purdue University Northwest where the preseason No.2 Trojans open GLVC play against No. 4 Ferris State University (0-0) and No. 3 Purdue Northwest University (1-3).

The next day, Feb. 15, the Trojans take on GLVC preseason No. 5 Lewis University (1-1) and No. 7 Quincy University (2-1) at Lewis in Romeoville, Illinois.
