OKATIE, SC – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's golf team continued its spring schedule at the Oldfield Classic, hosted by USC Beaufort at Oldfield Golf Course, which played to a par 72 over 7,142 yards. The field included 16 teams and 90 individual golfers.
Weston Lowry, who finished tied for 16th in the field, led the Trojans with a four-over-par 220 (75-71-74) over the 54-hole event. He also carded the Trojans' low round with a one-under-par 71 in the second round. It was the only par-or-better round over the three rounds by any Trojan. He also led the team with 10 birdies.
For Lowry, it marked his second-lowest 54-hole total of the season, one stroke off his season-low 219 last week. His second-round 71 was his second-lowest 18-hole score of the year. He posted a 70 twice earlier in the season and carded a 71 last week.
The team finished 12th with a 49-over-par 913. The Trojans' low team round was a six-over-par 294 during the second round.
TROJAN HIGHLIGHTS
The Trojans collected a total of 27 birdies and were in the Top 10 in the field with a 4.37 scoring average on the par four holes.
Weston Lowry tied for fourth in the field with a 4.5 average on the par five holes.
UP NEXT
The Trojans are scheduled to tee it up again on March 16-17 at the SCAD Cup hosted by the Savannah College of Arts and Design at the Heron Bay Golf and Country Club in Locust Grove, Ga.
The final regular season event is the Music City Invitational, hosted by Trevecca, on March 30-31 at the General's Retreat Course at the Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tenn.
The 2026 Gulf South Conference Championships are scheduled for the Greystone Golf Club in Dickson, Tenn. April 20-22.
