ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – The Trevecca Nazarene University STUNT team (10-2, 4-0 GLVC), ranked No. 9 in the College STUNT Preseason Poll, moved to 4-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) standings with a pair of wins at the Lewis STUNT Invitational on Sunday.

First, the Trojans defeated preseason GLVC No. 5 Lewis University Flyers (3-3, 1-3 GLVC) before topping preseason No. 7 Quincy University Hawks (3-5, 0-4 GLVC).

GM 1: GLVC Preseason No. 5 Lewis 12, College STUNT No. 9 Trevecca 30
Trevecca jumped out to an 11-3 lead at halftime, taking the first quarter 5-1 and scoring a 6-2 edge in the second. The teams split the third quarter with a 4-4 score. Trevecca dominated the fourth with a 15-5 win.

The Trojans took the first meeting all-time with the Flyers.

GM 2: GLVC Preseason No. 7 Quincy 8, College STUNT No. 9 Trevecca 28
The Trojans breezed through the game with Quincy, outscoring the Hawks 4-0 and 6-2 in the first two quarters for a 10-2 lead at halftime. Trevecca dominated the second half as well, with 5-2 and 13-4 wins in the third and fourth quarters.

Trevecca is 2-0 all-time against the Hawks.

Trevecca heads to Maryville University (4-2, 0-0 GLVC) in St. Louis on Feb. 28 and March 1 for the Saints Invitational. Trevecca takes on GLVC foe Southwest Baptist University (0-0, 0-0 GLVC) on Feb. 28 at 1 p.m., then faces Maryville University at 3 p.m.

The Southwest Baptist University Bearcats were voted No. 8 in the GLVC preseason coaches' poll. Trevecca won their only meeting to date in 2024.

That later matchup between Trevecca and Maryville is set between the top two teams in the GLVC preseason coaches' poll. The Saints were picked No. 1, and the Trojans were picked No. 2. The Saints and Trojans are even at 1-1 in the all-time series.

On March 1, the Trojans take on Drury University (2-2, 0-0 GLVC) at 10 a.m. before heading home. Drury is No. 5 in the GLVC preseason poll. Trevecca holds a 1-0 lead in the all-time series.
