NASHVILLE — The Trevecca Nazarene University track teams had a busy weekend in a unique way on Friday and Saturday, as the Trojans had runners competing in three different meets in two different time zones. 

The Trojans had three athletes competing across town at Vanderbilt, and the rest of the complement of their men's and women's teams in New York City for a pair of meets. 

The weekend got off to a great start in New York, as the Trojans swept the men's and women's 5,000-meter runs at the Ramapo College Season Opener at the Armory. Hadar Biger posted a time of 18:09.59 to take the women's event, and Joshua Novotny clocked in with a time of 15:34.50 to win the men's race.

In New York, the Trojans had 15 top-10 individual placements, with six earned by the Trojans on the women's side and nine on the men's. Of those, eight were top-five marks in the meet. In addition to the wins by Biger and Novotny, Ashley Alsvig (5th - 3,000m), Sarah Arnold (5th - 5,000m), Caden Meeks (5th - 800m), Jack Jaeger (3rd - 5,000m), Joel White (5th - 5,000m), and Landon Mason (3rd - Weight Throw) all claimed top-5 spots. 

The New York contingent moved to the Wagner College meet at the Ocean Breeze facility on Staten Island on Saturday. The Trojans added five top-10 performances on the day, with four of them coming on the women's side, while Lovotny added a top-10 mark in the 3,000-meter run for the men.
