The program overflowed with success in the NAIA / TranSouth era reaching the NAIA National Championships in 2008-09 and the NCCAA National Championships in 2011-12. The team won the TranSouth team championship five years in a row, advancing to the Region XI Championships every year during that stretch until the round was eliminated in 2008. The team finished in the NAIA Region XI top three in four of those seasons. The program saw three different golfers win the TranSouth Individual Medalist honor six times in a seven year stretch.
