OLD HICKORY, Tenn. – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's golf team is hosting the 2025 Music City Invitational at the Hermitage Golf Course. The 17 teams and 92 golfers completed 36 holes of the 54-hole event on Monday.
The 12 combined Trojan golfers produced 51 birdies on the day. Logan Cook is tied for the most birdies through 36-holes with ten.
Trevecca's Team B finished fourth in the field on the par three holes with a 3.23 average. TNU Team B had the lowest average in the field on the par five holes, averaging a six-under par 4.70. Trevecca Team B finished ninth in the field with 25 birdies. They combined 110 pars for seventh most in the field.
Trevecca Team A is tied for second with a five-under-par 4.75 average. Team A had 117 pars, the most in the field.
The teams play a final round of 18 on Tuesday.

TROJAN INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS
Maddox Burton
Burton has the fifth best par four average at two-under par 3.92.
Burton had a par of one-under par 69's fueled by seven birdies, four in the first round.
Alex Hamm
Hamm had five birdies, three in the second round and had a one-under par 69.
Thibau DeLange
DeLange is tied for sixth in the field with a two-under par average of 4.50.
He had four birdies on the day.
Wilson Borders
Borders had three birdies on the day.
William Moser
Moser had three birdies, all in the second round.
Lucas Barrett
Barrett had five birdies on the day with four in the second round. Three of his second round birdies came on consecutive holes (7-8-9).
He shot a two-under 68 in the second round.
Barrett carded the seventh most pars in the field with 26.
Logan Cook
He recorded ten birdies on the day with seven in the first round when he shot a one-under 69.
Cook produced a three-under par average of 4.25 which is tied for the lowest through 36-holes.
Kai Heilckert
Heilckert is fourth in the field with a one-under average of 2.88 on the par three holes.
He shot a one-under 69 in the second round on the back of four birdies.
Cooper Roberts
Roberts had four birdies on the day with three in the second round.
Josh Breland
Breland had two birdies, both in the second round.
Jack Kenmare
Kenmare scored five birdies on Monday, with four in the second round. Three of the birdies came on consecutive holes (15-16-17).
Zane Johnson
Johnson has the seventh best average on the par-three holes at 3.00.
Johnson was consistent with 22 pars recorded and a single birdie.

There are 17 teams in the 2025 Trevecca Music City Invitational. When you add in seven golfers playing as individuals from across five schools, there are 92 golfers. Trevecca is fielding a pair of teams and an additional two golfers who are playing as an individual.
There are six teams (counting Trevecca's second entry) from the Gulf South Conference. Three teams are playing from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
The teams play 36 holes on Monday and a final 18 on Tuesday. The course is a little more challenging this year with a par 70 setup.
General's Retreat course, built in 1986 with architect Gary Roger Baird, hosted the LPGA Sara Lee Classic from 1988 to 1999. Having been voted the "Best Golf Course in Nashville."
With the beautiful setting along the Cumberland River and a variety of tee placements, golfers of all capabilities thoroughly enjoy the golf, scenery and hospitality offered at the Hermitage Golf Course.
