OLD HICKORY, Tenn. – There are 17 teams in the 2025 Trevecca Music City Invitational. When you add in seven golfers playing as individuals from across five schools, there are 92 golfers set to tee off on Monday. Trevecca is fielding a pair of teams and an additional two golfers who are playing as an individual.
There are six teams (counting Trevecca's second entry) from the Gulf South Conference. Three teams are playing from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
The teams will play 36 holes on Monday and a final 18 on Tuesday. The course is a little more challenging this year with a par 70 setup.
General's Retreat course, built in 1986 with architect Gary Roger Baird, hosted the LPGA Sara Lee Classic from 1988 to 1999. Having been voted the "Best Golf Course in Nashville."
With the beautiful setting along the Cumberland River and a variety of tee placements, golfers of all capabilities thoroughly enjoy the golf, scenery and hospitality offered at the Hermitage Golf Course.
