NASHVILLE – Juluis Turnipseed IV, a freshman on the Trevecca Nazarene University Trojan track and field team, is the Gulf South Conference Freshman of the Week for the week ending, Sunday, March 16, 2025.

The freshman has started it career in the Purple and White making noise and setting school records.
This week, he joined a record setting 4x100m relay team that posted a new Trevecca record at the Rhodes Invitational in Memphis. The team rounded Crain Field in a school record 42.05. Joining him were Dayton Floyd, Grant Allen, Zion Griffin.
He also finished second in the 200m dash and third in the 100m dash.
He currently has the second best 200m time in the Gulf South and is fourth at 100m. The 4x100m relay time is third best in the league.
During the indoor season he posted the second best 400m time (47.94) which was a NCAA Provisional Time.
The track and field teams continue their outdoor season at Lee University March 21-22.
