Trevecca STUNT | No. 8 Trojans Dominate at Pacific Northwest Open
 
NEWBERG, OR – The No. 8 Trevecca Nazarene University STUNT team (17-1, 4-1 MAWC) continued their impressive season with a dominant showing at the Pacific Northwest Open, held at the Wheeler Sports Center on the campus of George Fox University. The Trojans extended their winning streak to 16 games with victories over Muskingum University and George Fox University.
 
Sunday's games included a commanding 22-1 victory over Muskingum (0-2) and a 20-7 win over George Fox University (3-4).
 
The Trojans, now in their second season, are competing in the Mid America West Conference (MAWC), which features programs such as the University of Kentucky, University of Tennessee at Martin, Mercyhurst University, Missouri State University, and the University of Central Arkansas.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
 
GM 1 // MUSKINGUM // 22-1 
Trevecca took control early and never let up, jumping out to a 4-0 lead in the first quarter. The Trojans added another 4-0 run in the second quarter to take an 8-0 lead at halftime. In the third quarter, Trevecca extended their lead to 12-1 before finishing with a dominant 10-0 fourth quarter to seal the 22-1 victory.
 
GM 2 // GEORGE FOX // 20-7 
Facing host George Fox University, Trevecca started strong with a 4-0 first quarter and a 3-2 second quarter to take a 7-2 halftime lead. The Trojans added three more points in the third quarter before closing out the game with another explosive 10-point fourth quarter, securing a 20-7 win.

Trevecca continues their west coast trip with more action in the Pacific Northwest Open. The Trojans will play three more games on Saturday, March 15:

- 6:30 PM vs. Sonoma State University
- 8:00 PM vs. Saint Mary's College (IN)
 
The Trojans end the regular season, beginning March 27 at Trojan Fieldhouse, hosting one of the most significant College STUNT events of 2025. Make plans to attend the Music City STUNT Classic March 27-29 at Trevecca.
