CREVE COEUR, Mo. – The No. 8 Trevecca Nazarene University STUNT team (13-1, 3-1 MAWC) swept through both games on day one at the Maryville University Classic in their Simon Athletic Center just outside of St. Louis, extending their winning streak to 12 games.

Trevecca beat Central Methodist (1-1) 24-0, then secured a 17-7 victory over Tiffin (6-6).

The Trojans, now in their second season, are competing in the Mid America West Conference (MAWC), which features programs such as the University of Kentucky, University of Tennessee at Martin, Mercyhurst University, Missouri State University, and the University of Central Arkansas.

The Trojans are currently second in the conference at 3-1, second only to the University of Kentucky.

The Wildcats are 4-0 and the only team to beat the Trojans.

HOW IT HAPPENED
GM 1 // CENTRAL METHODIST // 24-0
Trevecca scored the max points in the first three quarters (four), taking a 12-0 lead to the fourth. In the fourth quarter, Trevecca again collected the max points, scoring 12 for a 24-0 win.

GM 2 // TIFFIN UNIVERSITY // 17-7
Trevecca took a 4-0 lead through the first quarter and extended it to 8-0 at the half with another perfect quarter. Tiffin responded in the third quarter, outscoring Trevecca 4-1, cutting the lead to 9-4. The Trojans finished strong, outscoring Tiffin 8-3 in the fourth quarter to secure the win.

UP NEXT
Trevecca finishes the trip to St. Louis on Sunday, March 2. The Trojans face the another MAWC conference foe in the University of Central Arkansas at 8:00 AM, followed by a matchup with East Stroudsburg University at 2:30 PM.

Trevecca heads to the west coast for the Pacific Northwest Open beginning March 14 at George Fox University (Newberg, Ore.). The team hosts one of the most significant College STUNT events of 2025, beginning March 27 at Trojan Fieldhouse. Make plans to attend the Music City STUNT Classic March 27-29 at Trevecca.
