Trevecca STUNT | Trojans Unbeaten at Cavalier Classic

NORTH CANTON, Ohio – The No. 9 Trevecca Nazarene University STUNT team (7-1, 2-1 MAWC) continued its strong start to the season, earning two victories at the Walsh Cavalier Classic, defeating NCAA DIII No. 1 Hiram College (0-4) and former conference opponent No. 12 Tiffin University (2-3).

The Trojans, in just their second season as a program, are competing in the Mid America West Conference (MAWC) this season. A conference that includes the University of Kentucky, University of Tennessee at Martin, Mercyhurst University, Northern Kentucky University, Missouri State University, and the University of Central Arkansas.

HOW IT HAPPENED

GM 1 // HIRAM

Trevecca controlled the game from start to finish, shutting out Hiram in a commanding 19-0 victory. The Trojans jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back, closing with a dominant 10-point fourth quarter to secure the win. 

GM 2 // TIFFIN

Trevecca wrapped up the Walsh Cavalier Classic with a strong performance against No. 12 Tiffin. The Trojans built a 6-1 halftime lead and fended off a third-quarter push by the Dragons to claim a 14-6 victory.

Trevecca's next match will be the STUNT Opener at Trevecca in Nashville, TN, on Feb. 21 at the Trojan Fieldhouse.
