BIRMINGHAM - The Trevecca Nazarene University track and field teams completed their first Gulf South Indoor Championships, setting five new school records in the process. The 2025 GSC Championships are at the renowned Birmingham CrossPlex.

Zion Griffin tied his 60m Dash mark on Thursday in the preliminary race, then set a new low in the event on Friday in the finals. He finished second in both the preliminary and finals, reaching the podium for the Trojans.

Campbell Johnson made program history with a new point total in the Pentathlon on Thursday. Johnson also set a new record in the 60m Hurdles.

Jamelia Stovall continued her strong freshmen campaign improving the school record in the 60m Dash.

The men's distance medley relay team set a new standard on Thursday in the event, led by Hamzah Abo-Hashema, Harley Kirkpartrick, Caden Meeks, and Caleb Hinson.

Dayton Floyd finished with the second-best Heptathlon point total in school history. He finished first in the Heptathlon 60m Dash, second in the Long Jump, second in the 1000m Run, and second in the High Jump.
