BIRMINGHAM - The Trevecca Nazarene University track and field teams are competing this week at their first Gulf South Conference Indoor Championships. The 2025 GSC Championships are at the renowned Birmingham CrossPlex.

Five Trojan records were broken or tied on day one of the 2025 GSC Championships.

Zion Griffin, who tied his own school record in the 60mDash, finished second in the 60m Dash, and qualified for the finals on Friday.

Dayton Floyd is making noise in the Heptathlon, scoring 2415 points on day one. He finished first in the Heptathlon 60m Dash, second in the Long Jump, and second in the High Jump. He has three events on Friday to improve his fourth overall standing at the championships.
