Trevecca Men’s Golf | Alex Hamm Remains Low Trojan in The Dunning Invitational Final

CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's golf team completed its first 54-hole tournament of the season at the Delta State University hosted the Dunning Invitational.

The team moved up a spot during Tuesday's final round, finishing 11th with a 308-309-304=921.

Alex Hamm is the low Trojan, shooting a 76-77-73=226.

ALEX HAMM

Trevecca's low golfer proved to be steady again with a birdie, one double-bogie, and 16 pars during Tuesday's final round.

Hamm had one birdie on the Monday, but used it well, shooting one-under on the front nine in the morning round. He had 43 pars over the 54-hole tournament.

MADDOX BURTON

Burton ended the event with seven birdies, three coming on Tuesday. Burton shot one-under on the front-nine Tuesday

Maddux Burton had four birdies on the Monday, two in each round. He was one-under on the front nine of the second round.

WILLIAM MOSER

Moser ended the championship with seven birdies with two more coming in Tuesday's final round.

Moser birdied the first two holes in Monday's first round, then added three more birdies in the second round. He shot even par on the front nine of his second round.

LOGAN COOK

Cook had four birdies on Monday and shot one over on the front nine of round two. He added a birdie on Tuesday for five on the championship.

LUCAS BARRETT

On Tuesday, he added another birdie, totaling seven for the event.

Barrett had five birdies on the Monday, two in the opening round and three in the second round. He had a one-over 37 on the back nine of the first round.

TROJAN TEAM HIGHLIGHTS
With eight more birdies in the third round, TNU finished with 27 birdies as a team over the three rounds.

The team collected eight birdies in the first round and eleven in the second round for a total of 19 over Monday's two rounds.

UP NEXT

TNU tee's it up again on Oct. 21-22 at the Lee University Invitational at the Bear Trace Course at Harrison Bay.

The final fall event is at the ChampionsGate Golf Club in Championsgate, Florida Oct. 28-29 at the Citrus Intercollegiate.
