It was a one-point, 12-11, loss against the preseason favorite Eagles. A game hosted by Tiffin University in the Heminger Center, site of the 2024 G-MAC Championships.
That loss first loss proved to be the only loss TNU experienced in conference play. The Trojans finished in a tie with Ashland for the regular season title as both teams finished 9-1 and split their season series.
When Trevecca avenged that lone conference loss to Ashland, it was a 14-12 win in the Music City Classic, the Trojans moved up to No. 6 in the national STUNT poll.
The Trojans finished 18-9 overall and tied for the Great Midwest regular season championship at 9-1. The Trojans and Eagles tied for the regular season Black Division and Hiram University won the Blue Division.
