INDIANAPOLIS – The seventh-seeded Trevecca Nazarene University baseball Trojans (33-21) continue their postseason run on Saturday in the Midwest Region with a twist.

After numerous weather-related adjustments and delays, the team is now set to play third-seed Maryville University on Saturday at Bart Kaufman Field on the Indiana University campus in Bloomington, Indiana.

The weather in the Indianapolis area proved to be as challenging this week as the weather faced often in Middle Tennessee. It also impacted the Trevecca softball team earlier this week at the NCAA Super Regional at UIndy as well.

The Maryville Saints (39-17) defeated Grand Valley State University, 8-5, to stay in the winner's bracket with Trevecca. Trevecca holds a 6-5 edge in the series (History), but the Saints took two of three at Trevecca at the start of the season. Maryville won the GLVC tournament.
The team has been waiting for their next game since winning their 2024 Midwest Regional Championship opener with a 16-4 offensive display against the host and second-seeded University of Indianapolis (35-19) at Greyhound Park on Thursday.
