BIRMINGHAM – The Trevecca Nazarene University Trojans competed at the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) Spring Invitational this weekend and one Trojan, Lucas Baggott, competed in the North Carolina State University Raleigh Relays on Saturday.
 
Baggott came in under the NCAA Division II Provisional Qualifying time of 58.27 in the 400m Hurdles. He'll continue to cut that time down at the final two regular season meets, the Bryan Clay in California in two weeks and at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships.
 
Ruth Penney recorded a school record in the 3000m Run with new TNU best time of 10:56.63.
 
The Trojans head to the Jim Vargo Invitational next week in Louisville at Bellarmine University.
