DENTON, Texas – The No. 6 Trevecca Nazarene University STUNT team (9-2, 7-1 Great Midwest) is at the Texas Woman's University Classic, an eight-team and 15 game event. Trevecca split its first two games on Friday. Dropping the opener to No. 3 Dallas Baptist University (6-2), 24-2, and beating the host, No. 9, TWU (3-4) Pioneers, 21-7.
HOW IT HAPPENED – No. 3 DALLAS BAPTIST UNIV.
In the first game of the day for the Trojans, against No. 3 Dallas Baptist University, was dominated by the Patriots 24-2. DBU (6-2) shutout the Trojans until the third quarter when the Trojans scored their first point. Trevecca added one more point in the fourth. It is the Trojans lowest point total of the year. No Trojan scored more than two points or had a rating higher than five.
HOW IT HAPPENED – No. 9 TEXAS WOMAN'S UNIV.
Kaitlyn Probus and
Mikayla McCoy each scored 20 points with a 54 rating.
Olivia Jarrell score 19 points with a 51 rating.
Ashton Lowe also scored 19 with a 50 rating.
Trevecca scored four points in the first quarter and three in the second for a 7 lead at the half. Trevecca scored three in the third and headed to the fourth quarter with a 10- lead. Trevecca dominated the fourth, scoring 11 of a possible 12 points.

Trevecca hosts the first Music City Invitational March 14, 15, 16 at the Trojan Fieldhouse. Trevecca plays the (No. 2 NCAA D1) University of Kentucky (5-4) on Thursday, March 14 at 7:30 PM. On Friday, March 15, Trevecca plays No. 4 Concordia University Irvine. TNU plays two Great Midwest games on Saturday, March 16 when they host No. 5 Ashland University (6-2, 6-0 Great Midwest) at 12:10 PM and No. 12 Tiffin University (0-3, 0-3 Great Midwest) at 7:10 PM.
