NASHVILLE – The Trevecca Nazarene University STUNT team collected two more wins to round out its first-ever home game weekend. The Trojans took down Baldwin Wallace University 24-0 in the first game of the day before taking down conference opponent Malone University 20-0 in Trojan Fieldhouse on Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED – BALDWIN WALLACE UNIVERSITY
Trevecca performed well once again in the partner stunts as a total of 12 Trojans combined to take all four points. Through the second and third quarters the Trojans pushed out to a 12-0 lead by dominating the pyramid and tumbling performances. Trevecca doubled up its points in the fourth quarter to collect the 24-0 win.
HOW IT HAPPENED – MALONE UNIVERSITY
Facing a conference opponent for the second time in as many days, the Trojans were tested in the opening two quarters. Trevecca dropped points in the third round of the first quarter as well as the first, third and fourth rounds of the second quarter. In the third and fourth quarters, the Trojans performances tightened up. Collecting all 12 points in the second half, the Trojans won 20-0.
For the fourth time this season, Mikayla McCoy collected the highest-rated player with a score of 46.
