Trevecca STUNT | Trojans Earn Historic First two Wins

NASHVILLE – The sixteenth intercollegiate sport at Trevecca is now official as the STUNT team defeated Mercyhurst 24-3 and later defeated Walsh University 22-0 in Trojan Fieldhouse on Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED – MERCYHURST

In the program's inaugural event, the Trojans wasted little time displaying their dominance. The first quarter Trevecca swept all four points in the partner stunts as Sakia Landrum, Lacee Fogg, Kaitlyn Probus, and Alayna Ballard competed in all four rounds.

The Trojans jumped out to a 12-0 lead after the second and third quarters, remaining perfect on the night heading into the fourth quarter. Trevecca completed its first ever fourth quarter collecting 12 more points to win the game 24-3. Mikayla McCoy finished the night as the highest-rated player with a score of 56.

HOW IT HAPPENED – WALSH

The Trojans claimed the early advantage in the partner stunts in the first quarter. In round two of the first quarter, the Trojans dropped a point but easily swept through the second and third quarters with perfect performances. After dropping a single point in the first round of the fourth quarter, the Trojans won 22-0. Mikayla McCoy once again finished as the highest-rated player with a score of 49.

The Trojans finish up the Opener Classic with games against Baldwin Wallace at 10:30 am and Malone University at 3:00 pm.
