INDIANAPOLIS - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference Volleyball Offensive Athlete of the Week for September 18, 2023, is Trevecca Nazarene University junior outside hitter Emma Titus.
 
The Hendersonville, Tenn. native hit .246 over three matches totaling 63 kills with three double-doubles on the week.
 
The Station Camp High School product produced 27 kills against Ohio Dominican University, 23 vs Ashland University, the preseason G-MAC South Division favorite, and 13 against Tiffin University. She paired those with 14 digs against Ashland and 10 against Ohio Dominican and Tiffin. 
 
She nine blocks and three service aces while averaging 4.50 kills and 2.43 digs per set. She averaged 21 kills and just over 11 digs per match.

The Trojans have another three-match schedule this week, starting with their first trip to new Great Midwest member Thomas More University (1-8, 1-2 Great Midwest) on Tuesday. The Trojans and Saints face off for the first time ever in volleyball at 6:00 PM in Crestview Hill, Ky.
 
TNU returns home for a pair of Great Midwest matches this weekend. Friday, it's Walsh University (9-0, 1-0 Great Midwest) visiting the Trojan Fieldhouse at 6:00 PM. On Saturday, Malone University (2-8, 0-1 Great Midwest) visits at 1:00 PM. Thomas More was picked to finish sixth in the South Division in the Great Midwest Preseason Coaches' Poll.
 
Walsh has a 6-4 edge in the series all-time, but Trevecca has won the last three meetings. Trevecca owns a 5-2 edge versus Malone and have won four in a row in the series. Walsh was picked fourth in the North Division in the preseason coaches' poll, while Malone was picked fifth.
