Box Score 2 EVANSVILLE, Ind. – No. 7 Trevecca Nazarene University baseball team (12-2) swept the University of Southern Indiana (6-3) in Saturday's double-header, 9-4 in game one, and 15-3 in game two (seven innings), while on the road.

SERIES HISTORY/NOTES
With the two wins today, the Trojans tie the all-time series 8-8. Trevecca defeats USI in Evansville for the first and second time ever, USI is now 6-2 in the series at home.
The Trojans are now 11-1 against GLVC teams this season. With the only loss coming last night against USI.
HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: The Trojans came out strong showing they intended to get back on track and win their first true road series. In the second inning, the Trojan's offense revealed what the day would look like, plating five runs. Henry Mosely kicked off the scoring on a Logan West single. David Milam followed, scoring on a wild pitch. Next, Jordan Jackson drove in Logan West on a ground out. Shawn Wallwork scored on a fielding error, then Braden Odom rounded out the scoring, crossing home on an RBI by Roland Ryan. The scoring paused until the seventh inning. In the top of the seventh, the Trojans added two more on a Jordan Jackson double into left-center field to bring in Logan West and Zeke Lecomte. However, the Screaming Eagles got on the board in the bottom of the seventh inning, bringing the score to 7-3. The Trojans finished the scoring with a two-run eighth.
GAME TWO: The Trojans continued the momentum in game two, but only after the Screaming Eagles took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning.
The Trojans responded with their second five-run inning, this time in the second inning. Henry Mosely hit a two-run home run into left field to start off the scoring. Later in the inning, Jordan Jackson hit a three-run home run over left field, which brought Logan West and Ryan Mortensen.
In the third, the Trojans continued to pile on runs. Braden Odom hit a triple to get on base and was brought home by a Bryant Goolsby home run to make it 7-2. Then with one out, Logan West and Jordan Jackson both hit two RBI doubles each to bring the score to 11-2.
The Trojans added three more runs over the next three innings to put the game out of reach. The game would be called in the seventh inning on the run-rule.

Justin Campbell (3-1) was credited with the win, pitching 6.1 innings while allowing three runs on six hits and striking out eight batters

Henry Mosley went 3-5 with three RBI, a home run, and two runs scored
Alex Clouthier (3-0) was credited with the win after pitching six innings while allowing only three runs, he also had five strikeouts
UP NEXT
Great Midwest Conference play will begin next week (March 11-12) against Kentucky Wesleyan College (0-12) in Owensboro for a four-game series starting at 12:00 PM on Friday.
