NASHVILLE – Trevecca Nazarene University Baseball placed two student-athletes on the 2026 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-South Region teams, with junior designated hitter
Cade Martin earning First Team honors and junior right-handed pitcher
Logan Harrell receiving Second Team recognition.
Martin, a junior from Gallatin, Tennessee, produced one of the top offensive seasons in the Gulf South Conference and South Region. He finished the season batting .402 with a 1.292 OPS while totaling 50 runs scored, 66 hits, 13 doubles, one triple, 16 home runs, and 45 RBI.
Martin also recorded 129 total bases with a .787 slugging percentage and a .505 on-base percentage while drawing 26 walks and being hit by 11 pitches.
During the season, Martin delivered multiple signature performances, including a three-home run game at UAH and a two-home run game against then-No. 1 North Greenville.
At the Gulf South Conference Championship, Martin helped lead one of the top offensive performances in tournament history as the Trojans hit seven home runs in a win over nationally-ranked West Alabama. Martin homered in the victory as Trevecca finished with 20 hits in the 13-7 win.
Earlier this postseason, Martin earned First Team All-Gulf South Conference honors. He also received Gulf South Conference Player of the Week, NCBWA South Region Player of the Week, and Tennessee Sports Writers Association Player of the Week honors during the season. Martin was additionally named Trevecca's All-Sports Male Athlete of the Year.
Harrell, a junior from Hendersonville, Tennessee, led the Trevecca pitching staff throughout the season and finished 8-5 overall with a 3.48 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP across 15 starts and 15 appearances.
The right-hander logged 93.0 innings with two complete games, including one shutout. He allowed 85 hits and 36 earned runs while striking out 97 batters against 20 walks. Opponents hit .237 against him during the season.
Harrell ranked among the Gulf South Conference leaders in strikeouts and innings pitched while consistently working deep into games for the Trojans.
One of the top outings of his season came against then-No. 15 West Alabama when he threw a complete-game shutout, allowing two hits with no walks across 9.0 innings.
Earlier this postseason, Harrell earned Second Team All-Gulf South Conference honors and twice received Tennessee Sports Writers Association Pitcher of the Week recognition.
Trevecca finished the 2026 season with 32 wins and advanced to the NCAA South Regional, marking the program's third NCAA Division II Regional appearance during the NCAA Era.
