Trevecca got on the board in the bottom of the third inning when Zeke Lecomte led off the inning with a solo home run over the monster in left field. A Jordan Jackson single loaded up the bases in the bottom of the fifth inning, but the Trojans were unable to capitalize.
Neither team scored until the eighth. Shawn Wallwork reached on a walk to lead off the inning. He moved to second on a sac bunt from Andrew Becker. When Roland Ryan reached on a Bulldog throwing error, Wallwork was able to score.
Both teams left runners on in the ninth, forcing extra innings.
Both teams squandered more opportunities in the extra frames, but in the 11th inning, Logan West reached with a leadoff walk. West moved to second on a sac bunt from Zeke Lecomte and to third on a sac fly from David Milam. With West 90 feet away, Bulldog reliever Max Meusey sailed this first pitch to Paxton Hughes over the head of catcher Dylan Thomas, allowing West to score the winning run.
