Box Score HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Nationally-ranked No. 8 Trevecca Nazarene University baseball (3-1) defeated the University of Alabama Huntsville (3-5), 11-7, at Charger Park on Wednesday afternoon in a non-conference game. The Trojans scored in six innings with eight different Trojans scoring at least one run.
Trevecca will honor the 2021 College World Series team between games on Saturday (about 3:15 PM). The team will each receive a championship ring, commemorating their Great Midwest and Midwest Region championships.

The Chargers have the all-time lead in the series 9-5. The teams split the season series last year, with the run differential favoring the Trojans 14-7.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Trevecca faced adversity very quickly when Alabama Huntsville produced a three-run first inning, including a two-run homer. The Trojans got into a groove in the second when Braden Odom hit a double bringing in Logan West and David Milam. The Trojans followed up in the third inning when Zeke Lecomte doubled plating two more Trojan runs. Later in the inning, with two out, David Milam singled driving in Zeke Lecomte from third base for the score.
The Trojan offense went full force in the fourth inning as Trevecca scored three more runs to make it 8-4 TNU. Trevecca would not look back from there.
The Trojan offense was rolling all game and only blanked in three innings. The Trojans scored a run in the fifth, eighth, and ninth innings, totaling 11 runs. Braden Odom hit a solo shot late for the final Trojan tally.
The Trojans held the Chargers to seven runs.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
The Trojans scored in six out of nine innings, scoring their 11 runs on 14 hits, including five doubles.
All nine Trojans in the batting lineup reached base.
Six different Trojans drove in at least one run.
Davis Jackson was credited with the win after pitching four innings and allowing one run.
Braden Odom went 3-5 with three hits, one home run, three RBIs, and two runs scored.

The Trojans return home to face Lewis University (0-0) for a single game on Friday at 3:00 PM, and a double-header on Saturday starting at 12:00 PM.
