Box Score FINDLAY, OH. – Trevecca Nazarene University volleyball team (0-2, 0-2 Great Midwest) hit the road on Saturday, falling to the University of Findlay (2-0, 2-0 Great Midwest) in five sets.
Trevecca won the opening set, but lost three of the next four in a match that went down to the wire.

THE SERIES
Findlay leads the all-time series after the sixth ever meeting, 5-1.
THE MATCH
Trevecca trailed 4-0 in the first set before registering a point but responded with a 6-2 run to tie it at 6-6. The set was tightly contested after that point, and the largest lead of the set was only four when Findlay led 22-18. The Trojans battled back and kills by Sami Raley and Ellie Buffler closed out the first set, 28-26 in favor of the Trojans. It was Trevecca who took an early lead in the second set, going up 3-0 before Findlay got on the board. The Oilers would go on a 6-2 run of their own to lead 6-5 and did not look back to win the second set 25-20 and tie the match at 1-1.
The third set held a similar script to the first, as it was tightly contested throughout. Tied up at 25, Buffler took control with three consecutive kills to win the set 28-26, and Trevecca took a 2-1 lead. Findlay pulled away in the third set to win 24-18 and controlled the fifth and final set to win 15-7, and the Oilers took the match 3-2.
TOP PLAYERS
Ellie Buffler led the Trojans in kills for the second consecutive game with 19, with Austyn Baldwin adding ten to go with a 35% kill percentage and four blocks. Chloee McDaniel aced 35 serves and Claire Hindman collected 20 digs.
Findlay's Rylie Pattison led the Oilers with 19 kills, while Emilu Annesser provided 13 and Hannah Warrington brought 15.
THE TEAM
Findlay hit .223 (65-25-179) while the Trojans hit .116 (52-31-181).

Trevecca hosts Martin Methodist College at 7 PM in their final exhibition match on Monday (Watch Live), before jumping back into Great Midwest play and hosting Ohio Dominican on Saturday, January 30.
